Year-13 Media Studies (Easter Task)

Your task:
Each person will take a viewpoint on the games issue. This will be in the form of a 'Moral Maze' type debating programme. Your characters are as follows:

Raj: a journalist who is convinced that games DO NOT affect people.
Peter: a parent who firmly believes that their child is NOT affected by playing games.
Adam: a games designer who suggests that people CANNOT be affected by games.

Jeevan: a psychiatrist who is concerned that pupils’ education and behaviour is being seriously damaged by playing games.
Ciaran: a head-teacher who is believes that people-especially children ARE negatively affected by games.


Four students will take part in the debate. One student will chair the programme.
